What are mosaic tiles?
Mosaic tiles are small pieces of glass, stone, or plastic that combine to form a beautiful mosaic pattern. To make installation easier, they usually include a mesh backing. Mosaic tiles are ideal for creating feature sections or murals.

The Safari Mosaic Tiles have a distinctive rectangular shape that may be used to create unique designs when laid horizontally or vertically. The range comes in two lovely colour schemes – silver and grey & brown and cream and is perfect for kitchen and bathroom decor.
Grout for mosaic wall tiles
Sand-based grout may be necessary if the gaps between your mosaic tiles are larger than 1/8 inch. The sand reinforces the grout and prevents it from separating if the gaps are more than 1/8 inch. It’s important to note that standard grout gaps are around 1/16 inch wide.
Ordering a tile sample to try before you buy is always a good idea. To properly get an idea if the tile will be suitable, we recommend moving the sample around your space and looking at it under varied lights, both during the day and at night. The Direct Tile Warehouse team would be happy to assist you with free cut samples of our mosaic wall tiles.
