Upgrading your garden with a garden feature wall means it looks summer-ready all year round. Why not jazz up a dull wall with some split face tiles, just like customer Timotina has done to great effect in her garden in Sheffield. Not only will they look incredibly stylish, but they’re a practical touch that will last for years to come.
We bought our house a few years ago and started construction straight away. The garden of course we left until last and I had a lot of time to think about what I wanted it to look like. As it was quite a small garden, we decided to go for some light tiles to create more space and a garden feature wall. These gorgeous split face tiles did just that. I was thinking about what to get and from where, as it was lockdown and we had time to do some garden work.
Garden Feature Wall Tiles
Direct Tile Warehouse came with amazing service, sending free samples to us through the post. I had some more options but when I saw these Ordino beige split face tiles my mind was made up straight away that they would help create the perfect garden feature wall we were after.
They look amazing and are good quality but most of all I really liked the customer service. They were looking after me and adjusted very well around my needs. The next project is to change the patio to tiles and I know where I will get them from!

Tiles used in this project
Split face tiles are a great way to introduce texture, tones and eye-catching interest to your home. Texture is always a popular interior design trend, so split face tiles will always stay up to date through the years.
Indoors, they work perfectly to stand out against plain paint or tiles and to spruce up any room in a sophisticated fashion. Add them as a kitchen backsplash, frame a fireplace or create a gorgeous feature wall.
Split face tiles are also fantastic to use in outdoor spaces. Liven up a dull garden wall with split face tiles to add the wow factor ready for alfresco entertaining and relaxing.
We’ll tell you a little more about split face tiles and show you some of our favourite ideas for using them.
